Notes & Reviews:

Louis Thirion wrote a succession of sonatas and symphonies in the early 20th century. War took him away from the musc scene, but above all he saw the destruction of his house and his manuscripts, a schock that made him give up all creative activity and devote himself from then on to teaching. For one only has to listen to the extracts of the Trio and the Quartet to be convinced of the value of this attractive, inspired and skillful composer.
