Album Remarks & Appraisals:

This album features the kaval, an important instrument in Bulgarian music. The kaval is one of the favorite instruments of the Bulgarian folk tradition and is considered the most lyrical as well. The timbre of the kaval is soft and gentle. Landmark works have been created for this instrument, not only in the sphere of bulgarian music bu also in Bulgarian folk-specific music and in today's orchestras.
