Notes & Reviews:

Bruckner's most important apprentice work, the Symphony in F minor (also known as Symphony No. 00) was discovered after the numbering of his official symphonies 1 - 9. This sonorous and truly romantic work is still virtually unknown and rarely recorded. The collaboration between conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy and the Deutsches Symphonie Berlin provide a vast, highly idiomatic reading of the score.
