Notes & Reviews:

A special treat here is the world premiere recording of an arrangement (by Rozhdestvensky, the conductor of this disc) for piano and orchestra of the Fantasy. An early work, it was composed as a two-piano piece since Scriabin had not yet written anything for orchestra. This orchestration allows the piece to finally be heard as the composer originally intended.
