Notes & Reviews:

Johann Nepomuk Hummel was a remarkable child prodigy who could read music at the age of three. The most famous Austrian pianist, conductor and composer of his time, it is ironic that a work he never bothered to publish, the Bassoon Concerto, is the one by which he is best known today.
