Notes & Reviews:

Dvorak's favourite pupil, Josef Suk, was to be his natural successor. His prolific output included graphic and colorful symphonic poems, with sinister and macabre elements lurking behind the sunny atmosphere of 'A Summer's Tale'. Taking its theme from Shakespeare's play, a cold wind blows through 'A Winter's Tale.' The Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra under Andrew Mogrelia give virtuosic performances.
