Notes & Reviews:

One of the great champions of the music of our time, Gidon Kremer is best known for his pioneering performances of works by a host of European and American composers. Kremer's friends have included Philip Glass, Ned Rorem and Leonard Bernstein, whose violin concertos are brought together in performances by Kremer for the first time on this disc. Stylistically, each composers work is quite different from the others, but all are approachable, and masterfully performed.
