Notes & Reviews:

Yehudi Menuhin was 15 years- and 16 years-old respecively for these recordings of the Bruch and Elgar Violin Concertos. In transfering these recordings, engineer Mark Obert-Thorn has opted to leave some inherent noises rather than mask them with over-filtering as has been done in previous incarnations of these performances. This allows the details of the playing on this magnificent performance to emerge as never before.
