Notes & Reviews:

Hilliard Ensemble singer John Potter introduces an exciting project which aims to provide original perspectives on the songs of John Dowland while preserving their lachrymose qualities. Dowland was known as an inspired improviser in his day. Mr. Potter takes this as a cue to bring some of the exceptional improvisers of our own period to Dowland's music.
