Notes & Reviews:
Writing about Farberman's interpretation of Mahler's 5th Symphony with the London Symphony Orchestra, American Record Guide says: "No Mahler is better played or has better sound or a better sounding Orchestra." This series of Mahler Symphonies by Farberman is shaping up to quite a cycle with the two newest installments: Symphonies Nos. 2 and 6. This new Sixth is quite astounding. It is a no-holds-barred account, easily recommended, especially at the incredibly low asking price!
