Notes & Reviews:

Beecham's last concert at the Royal Albert Hall was a performance of Berlioz's Grande Messe des Morts. He retired permanently from the conducting platform soon after. The remainder of this program is from a concert he conducted at the Royal Festival Hall. For any Beecham fans who didn't pick these recordings up in their original release last year, this specially-priced box set is just the thing!
