Notes & Reviews:

Classic Thanksgiving Songs of Praise features a diverse variety of music intended to make your Thanksgiving a little more special and festive. There are some well-known hymns here like "Praise My Soul" and "Mighty Fortress Is Our God," along with a wealth of orchestral performances. Some of the orchestras featured here include the Halifax Choral Society, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Handel Festival Chamber Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra Brass. This is a well-put-together collection, though many of the selections seem trivial since Thanksgiving isn't a particularly music-oriented holiday like Christmas, for example. ~ Jason Birchmeier
