Notes & Reviews:

There can be little doubt that the recorded legacy of the late Fritz Wunderlich ranks among the treasures of the human voice on record. Departing from the usual operatic recitals, this document presents the Wunderlich "Lite." Plenty of schmaltz compliments some stunning Verdi, Gluck, and Puccini arias. A clarion-clear high "C" at the end of a most memorable "Granada" alone is worth the price of the disc!
