Enrico Caruso's voice was the sound that propelled the new recording industry, and he would sell more records than any opera singer of his time. The gramophone made Caruso a household name and he was the first singing star of two mediums, opera and the gramophone. The new restorations are by Ward Marston using the latest digital technology, through which the golden sounds of Enrico Caruso's voice continue to inspire and astonish.
