Born in 1972 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Azabagic is today considered one of the most outstanding guitarists of his generation. In 1993 he became the youngest winner of the Jacinto e Inocencio Guerrero Competition in Madrid. Since then he has won virtually every guitar competition, including the 1998 GFA Competition in Montreal.
