Joseph Curiale: Awakening / Curiale, Royal Philharmonic

Notes & Reviews:

American composer Joseph Curiale is a unique voice, with hints of the influence of Bernstein, John Williams, Aaron Copland and Franz Waxman. Given this list of influences, this music will remind many of film socores, and this comparison is in no way disapproving. This is highly melodic music, lushly orchestrated and beautifully performed by the Royal Philharmonic. It is now clear that the new Black Box label produces some of the best sounding recordings on the market!
