Notes & Reviews:

I often wade through many linear feet of CDs to come up with one album that is half as pleasing as this one. This is Volume Two of the string quartets by the Beethoven contemporary and unknown master Andreas Romberg. Volume One met with an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response and brought the ensemble the prestigious German Recording Prize. Here again are teriffic performances of some exceptionaly beautiful string quartets, recorded in first-rate MD&G sound.
