Notes & Reviews:

Belgian by birth, French by choice, a gifted pianist and organist, Cesar Franck is remembered chiefly for a handful of outstanding symphonic, chamber and instrumental works. During the last thirty years of his life he wrote a masterful series of large scale organ works, of which the "Trois Chorals" (1890) are among his finest.
