Notes & Reviews:

Conductor Leo Botstein was recently featured for a Telarc release of the rare Richard Strauss Opera "Die Liebe der Danae", which became a runaway best seller here at H&B. The conductor turns from the unfamiliar to the familiar with this great recording of Bela Bartok's "Concerto for Orchestra". Although there is no shortage of great "Concerto"s in the catalog, this one is special for it's sophisticated musicality, and for Telarc's signature superb sound.
