The performer, Marcia Van Oyen writes: "There is a growing body of religious symbolist organ music being written by North American composers, most notably Dan Locklair, Daniel Pinkham and Frank Ferko. Inspried by the French masters, these composers paint mystical landscapes in sound. I selected the repertoire for this recording with the themes of eternity and resurrection, and the ideas portrayed in Frank Ferko's work, "Visions of Eternity," as a guiding framework."
