Spanish Classics - Granados: Spanish Dances / Brotons

Album Summary

>Granados, Enrique : Danse espagnole, Op. 37/5
Conductor Ensemble Composer

Notes & Reviews:

"These are delightful pieces. They were written for piano, but lots of piano dances have been orchestrated and not always by the composer. The orchestration here is by Rafael Ferrer, who was the conductor of this orchestra from 1962 to 1967. The music sounds good orchestrated, even if it's hard to get the piano originals out of the ears and brain. There is only one orchestra here, though it goes under two names. The other is the Catalonia National Orchestra." - Vroon, ARG
