Notes & Reviews:

Anne-Sophie Mutter was only 16 when she recorded the Beethoven Violin Concerto with Herbert von Karajan on Deutsche Grammophon. Now, 22 years later, she has recorded it with the experience of an unequalled career. These live recordings were made at New York's Avery Fisher Hall May 30, 31, and June 1 with the NY Philharmonic under Music Director Kurt Masur.
