Reviews

Not what I expected
The recording is good, the singing is fine, but much to my surprise, there are a number of important scenes missing from this version, such as Alfred singing "My little dove" both off stage in Act I and in the cell in Act III. Much of the funniest material in the jail has been cut as well. There is also no libretto, so it's hard to follow.

Lesson learned: don't by complete operas unless there is a listing of tracks so you know it's really "complete."
