Lutoslawski (1913-1994) is undoubtedly one of the most significant Polish composers since Szymanowski and probably even since Chopin. Lutoslawski himself conducts with two top soloists, Anne-Sophie Mutter and Krystian Zimerman, to whom the works have been dedicated.
