Notes & Reviews:

"It takes only a few minutes of listening to the First Concerto to recognize the marked similarity to Paganini's First Concerto. Even the slow movements of the other concertos sound like Paganini. Takako Niskizaki seems to have the technique for this demanding music, and Alfred Walter and his plucky band supply estimable support. It is difficult not to be enthusiastic about this release; it's a welcome introduction to a little-known composer." - Haller, ARG
