Sousa's ever touring band represented America across the globe and brought music to hundreds of American towns. Sousa's compositions earned him the title of 'The March King'. The library of Sousa's Band contained over 10,000 titles. Among them are the numberous band compositions of Sousa including his popular works 'Semper Fidelis' and 'The National Game' included on this disc. The present series aims to record the complete works.
