Notes & Reviews:

Anyone standing in front of the organ in the Weingarten Basilica for the first time is overwhelmed and at the same time surprised by the ease, if not to say lightness with which Joseph Gabler, the ingenious builder of the instrument, integrated the organ into the impressive interior of the church. The Weingarten organ is Gabler's life work and masterpiece. With it, he accomplished all that could be accomplished, with the knowledge of that time.
