Notes & Reviews:

One of the most celebrated English Singers, contralto Kathleen Ferrior brought a unique level of musicianship and emotional commitment to everything she performed during her tragically short life, which ended at age 41. Renowned for her performances of Mahler, Brahms, Schubert and Schumann, she also re-introduced many previously neglected British songs to her audiences.
