Notes & Reviews:

Thought to have been written for Christmas 1694, 'Messe de Minuit' is a unique synthesis between the sacred and the secular, combining ten popular French carol melodies with standard liturgical elements for the Feast of the Nativity.

MusicWeb International
The music is performed at baroque pitch. All the singing is deliciously clear-toned and forthright, the accompaniments on period instruments are stylish and the whole is enthusiastically presented.
