Scarborough Fayre - Traditional Tunes / Apollo's Fire

Notes & Reviews:

Using period instruments and performance styles, Apollo's Fire takes audiences on a musical journey to the Old and New Worlds - A fairground of haunting ballads, bawdy folk tunes and toe-tapping dances. They are dedicated to the performance of 17th and 18th Century music on period instruments. Music director Jeanette Sorrell brings to the stage an unusual background as both an orchestral conductor and early music performer.
