Jascha Horenstein has been represented on BBC Legends on many occasions particularly in Bruckner and Mahler. His famous pioneering recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 8 from 1959 was followed in 1961 with this featured broadcast of Beethoven's major choral work, the Missa Solemnis.
