Notes & Reviews:

Born in Tehran, Ranjbaran came to the US in 1974 and attended both Indiana University and Juilliard. His rich orchestrations, exciting rhythms and powerful climaxes are balanced by lyricism and a delicate beauty. Persian Trilogy offers an instantly accessible fusion of ancient and modern, with fragments of folk melodies and modes. The exciting new relationship with the much renowned Maestro Falletta and the LSO is another example of Delos' committment to exceptional new repertoire.
