Notes & Reviews:

This portrait of a 'Complete Violinist' presents nearly all the concerto recordings made by Viennese master Wolfgang Schneiderhan in the course of the 1950s. It includes many first-time international releases on CD - most of these recordings have only previously been available on CD in Japan. All of the classics of the violin repertoire are here as well as Schneiderhan's wonderful account of the rare concerto by Frank Martin.
