Notes & Reviews:

Franz Tunder was Buxtehude's predecessor as city organist at St. Mary's Church in Lubeck. 10 of his 17 extant vocal works are presented here in new recordings. The works are marked by an extraorinarily expressive compositional technique (above all in comparison to his successor Buxtehude).

Classics Today
The Rhenische Kantorei and Das Kleine Konzert deliver expertly crafted, stylish performances that either rival or better the earlier ones and offer long-awaited CD premieres.
