Wolfgang Tomboeck is a renowned master of the legendary Viennese Horn sound, and his liner notes give excellent insight into the instrument. He has been the principal hornist with the Vienna Philharmonic for nearly 25 and has played under von Karajan, Bohm, Bernstein, Maazel, Harnoncourt, Muti, Mehta, Abbado, Ozawa, Haitink, Levine, Previn and Rattle!
