Notes & Reviews:

"Edward Knight seems to be a storyteller by inclination. This program begins with a song cycle on some rather harrowing poems by Langston Hughes, employing various styles recalling the blues, etc. It is witty, in-your-face stuff sung with flair by Lister. Where the Sunsets Bleed is a cello sonata of a serious nature, dealing with thoughts of death, commissioned in memory of the ending of WWII. Altogether, it is a pleasantly consonant but not very sophisticated collection." D Moore, American Record Guide
