Notes & Reviews:
The St. Thomas Choir is considered by major critics to be the outstanding choral ensemble of the Anglican musical tradition in the United States today. The Men of the Choir are professional singers. The Boys attend St. Thomas Choir School, the only church-related residential choir in the US, and one of only four similar schools remaining in the world. This disc features the world premiere of Randall Thompson's 'Place of the Blest', which was written for St. Thomas.
