Notes & Reviews:

Kamran Ince was winner of the Prix de Rome and the Lili Boulager Prize. He was born in Montana, but spent his early years and received hiseducation in Turkey, an influence that can be heard in much of his work. His Symphonies are equally tone poems, depicting scenes ranging Turkish landscapes to great battles. "That rare composer able to sound connected with modern music, and yet still seem exotic." - Los Angeles Times
