Notes & Reviews:

'Das Gansebuch (The Geese Book)' is named after an illumination showing a choir of geese directed by a wolf. 'The Geese Book' is the only complete source for the pre-Reformation liturgy of the Mass in Nurembourg. This recording presents chants from feast days of particular significance to the church of St. Lorenz and to the city of Nuremberg, including the all-important Feast of the Holy Lance and Nails.
