Performers Composers

Notes & Reviews:

Among Kreisler's many gifts was an impressive talent in making stunning arrangements of other composer's melodies, which have continued in the standard repertoire. Particular favorites, which are included in this collection, are arrangements of melodies from Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Scheherazade' and Dvorak's 'Symphony No. 9'. These works are brilliantly performed by violinist Nicolas Koeckert.
