Most of the works on this recording were composed for the Grauwels/Simard duo. A highlight of the disc is the substantial work 'the history of the Tango', which was dedicated to Marc Grauwels by Astor Piazzolla in 1985. Ravi Shankar's 'The Enchanted Morning' steadily builds to a conclusion of thrilling virtuosity.
