Notes & Reviews:

Antonio de Cabazon is perhaps the best known of all composers of the Spanish Renaissance, particularly for his organ works, but this acclaimed series from Stradivarius provides a rare overview of his instrumental and vocal compositions. This present disc contains pieces from two groupings of instrumental versions of what were originally works for voices, which are alternated with tientos - pieces written purely for instruments.
