Notes & Reviews:

Andante presents a varied and wonderful collection featuring the Amadeus Quartets favorite composers - Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert. These live recordings have been sourced from the WDR archives in Cologne and represent the youthful Amadeus Quartet in the mid 50s well before they started their commercial studio recordings. These previously unreleased recordings are rare treasures of chamber music.
