Performer
Barry McDaniel (Baritone)
Notes & Reviews:
Long unavailable historic recordings made 1950-1960 by the legendary Carl Schuricht. Though known primarily as a conductor of Beethoven, Bruckner and Wagner, Schuricht never missed an opportunity to support music by living composers. This installment presents some of the music that Schuricht greatly admired, including rarities by Pfitzner, Reger, Rezniaek and even Richard Strauss.
