Notes & Reviews:

This is already an unusual collection of works for piano trio, but for listeners familiar with the brilliant, modern works of Roberto Gerhard, the Trio will prove a surprise and revelation. The piece reflects the influences of Ravel, Debussy and de Falla, and already shows a mastery of form. It would have been fascinating to consider what the music of Granados would have been liked had he not embraced more experimental forms in later years.
