Notes & Reviews:
A collection of Lutheran hymns is sung by the Oulainen Youth Choir, a girls' choir that was founded in 1972, and has gone on to win many competitions both nationally and internationally.
American Record Guide, May/June 2013
They deliver many of their numbers in simple unison, others in up to three parts. These arrangements of typically repetitive hymns gain some variety by virtue of ever-changing and imaginatively crafted accompaniments from single strings, flute, trumpet, recorders, piano, organ, and harmonium. I enjoyed the girls' crisp, clear, and technically secure singing very much. I also admired the instrumental work.
