Notes & Reviews:

Northern Germany was a center of organ design in the 17th century and this SACD records one of the surviving organ gems of that area with music of the period. The organ on this recording was constructed in 1688 and painstakingly restored in 1981 and 1985. All of the music on this CD was performed in the 17th Century on this instrument by the composers themselves.
