Notes & Reviews:
Eugenio Toussaint is a unique figure on Mexico's music scene - a splendid composer and orchestrator, a dazzling jazzman and a pianist with international accolades. His ballet 'Dias de los Muertos,' deeply rooted in Mexican folklore, was written for the Arizona Ballet and is full of music as personal as it is intense and engaging. Camerata de las Americas, an instrumental ensemble based in Mexico, is dedicated to the search, performance and recording of music for small orchestra written in the Americas during the twentieth century.
