Verso presents a new CD dedicated to one of the most distinguished Spanish composers of the generation born in the 1940s, Tomas Marco, featuring major orchestral works played with brilliance by the Orquesta Sinfonica Ciudad de Oviedo under the direction of Gabriel Estarellas.

Tomás Marco's long career has left a vast output including operas, ballet, symphonies and a number of chamber, choral and orchestral pieces. This new disc is devoted to that last bracket, offering Marco's most recent orchestral music. The pieces here reveal an interest "in fractal growth structures, the behavior of turbulence, and the logic of fluids".
