As one of Mexico's outstanding chamber music groups, Sinfonietta Ventus has repeatedly been praised for performances that combine virtuosity with flawless ensemble playing. Composed of wind players from the major orchestras in Mexico City, the group has a broad repertory including the classical 'Harmoniemusik' of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, original octets from the twentieth century, and a large number of arrangements of classical and popular works. Here they perform arrangements by Dudin, Toussaint and others of some of the sunniest light classics ever turned over to wind ensemble!
